Spelling: Unit 9: digraphs nk, ng
Math: Chapter 3: Subtraction from 1,000 with regrouping in the ones and tens

Reading: Making inferences/Questioning

Writing: Examining small moments from an author and emulating their techniques, sound effects, dashes, and stretching a small moment. We will also begin to look at stories with many moments and how those moments all fit into the main idea.

Science: Weather

Please save your wrapping paper rolls this holiday season (the long brown tubes). We are gathering the cardboard tubes in order to make a craft.

Math: Chapter 2: Three digit addition with regrouping in the ones, tens and hundreds place

Reading: Making inferences

Writing: Examining small moments from an author and emulating their techniques, sound effects, dashes, dialogue, and stretching a moment

Science: Finishing leaf study / Begin unit on weather
